LocDir.com Terms of Service
Overview
The LocDir.com Website Submission Service is designed for webmasters,
website owners, and marketing organizations who wish to have websites
reviewed for possible inclusion in LocDir.com. All website
submissions are subject to the Terms of Service, which may be updated
from time-to-time without notice.
Description of Services
LocDir.com provides a professional review by a website editor for
possible inclusion into the LocDir.com directory. By submitting
a link, you acknowledge that the payment is for a review of that link,
and does not guarantee inclusion in the LocDir.com website directory.
Payment
LocDir.com utilizes the Paypal payments processor. All payments for
website reviews are due upon website submission. Whether or nor your
website listing is approved, no refunds will be provided. The
three most important criteria in the editorial review process are these:
- An informative, user-friendly website
- with a focused, well-written description
- submitted to a relevant directory category
Eligibility
LocDir.com only accepts English-language websites. LocDir.com will not
accept websites that:
- are "under construction".
- spawn multiple "pop up" windows.
- redirect visitors to another website.
- constitute, include, or promote chat rooms.
- constitute, include, or promote illegal content.
- constitute, include, or promote pornographic content.
- constitute, include, or promote inappropriate violent content.
- promote the use of alcoholic beverages, drugs, or tobacco.
- contain advertising links with minimal original content.
- contain affiliate links with minimal original content.
- contain excessive grammatical or spelling errors.
This list of unacceptable website characteristics is not exhaustive.
Placement
LocDir.com editors reserve the right to edit the title and description
of your website and to move your website listing to a different category.
Termination
LocDir.com editors reserve the right to remove your website from the
directory without prior notice if it violates any of the Terms of Service.
Warranty
All information on LocDir.com and services offered by LocDir.com are
provided "as is". This information and these services are provided
without warranties of any kind, either expressed or implied. These
Terms of Service are not intended to imply that the services provided will
be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free. Some states do not allow the
exclusion or limitation of implied warranties, so some of these exclusions
may not apply to you.
Indemnity
By using this website and/or its services, you agree that LocDir.com, its
agents, and its parent company Zeducorp, are not responsible for errors
or omissions, and shall have no liability for damages of any kind, including
special, indirect, or consequential damages, arising out of or resulting from
any information, product, or service made available hereunder or the use or
modification thereof. LocDir.com's liability to any customer shall
not, for any reason, exceed the amount actually paid by that customer to
LocDir.com under this Terms of Service agreement.
